HTC Amaze 4G First Impressions

Images of HTC Amaze 4G were leaked online before this smartphone was released. On 26th September 2011, this smartphone was officially announced by T-Mobile at Mobilize 2011. So what does HTC Amaze 4G look like and what does it offer? Here’s a sneak peek for our tech buffs:

HTC Amaze 4G Display

HTC Amaze 4G contains a 4.3inch qHD super LCD touchscreen of 960 x 540 pixel resolution. The screen brightness is expected to be comparable to other smartphones. HTC Amaze 4G looks similar to the Sensation 4G, in terms of its form factor. With curved edges and a recessed front, this device looks sleek and should fit into the palm of the hand easily. The left side of the device houses the microUSB port while the right side contains the volume rocker and the camera keys. The rear of the HTC Amaze 4G has a soft touch at the top and bottom, with a shiny metal portion in between. This smartphone has a solid build and feels sturdy enough. It is available in two colors, black and white.

Recently Symbian Foundation announced of transitioning over next six months from operational activities to becoming a licensing body. The board took this not-so-easy decision of leaving the foundation of the company to consider the future. In recent years, a lot of speculations were heard about Symbian. In 2008, Nokia acquired the company and established its foundation, making available the Symbian in open source and royalty free.

Shanghai and Beijing to get New Apple Retail Stores

An announcement came from Apple on the 19th of September stating that Apple iPhone 4 will now be available for its customers in China as well. The new iPhone 4 will be available in the APlle Retail Stores all across China from Saturday 25th of September 2010 from 8:00AM, which includes the new Apple Store at the Hong Kong Plaza in Shanghai and Xidan Joy City in Beijing. With a new 2 year contract the iPhone 4 will also be available in the China Unicom retail stores from Saturday.

The dream for video chatting comes to reality with the feature of the app FaceTime which has been included in the new Apple iPhone. It also sports the new stunning Retina display of Apple which is the highest resolution display ever featured on any of the phones till date. The iPhone 4 also sports an inbuilt 5 mega pixel camera having a LED flash which could also be used for video recording. The phone also features the Apple’s A4 processor, 40% longer talk time and a 3-axis gyro. This is the thinnest smartphone available today around the world featuring all new design with glass & stainless steel as cover. It has the newest version of the world’s advanced mobile operating system i.e. iOS 4 which has 100s of new features. Apple’s new revolutionary App Store gives access for more than 250,000 apps which includes the new iMovie specially designed for iPhone 4.

This price would be offered as a $100 mail in rebate along a new 2 year customer agreement.

Samsung Facinate runs on the Android 2.1 platform. It has the new technology of a Super AMOLED screen with the Samsung’s 1 GHz Cortex, and A8 Hummingbird Application Processor. You Tube Gets More SmartPhone Friendly

As You Tube progresses their system becomes even more smartphone friendly. Google has promised to bring about the best experience in regard to extend the You Tube experience for users.

So now You Tube has been rejigged to fit into smartphones so that users can easily load, up load and even watch videos with the streaming done rather quickly. Video sharing through mobile phones had never got easier than this. The access to a rudimentary version of You Tube has also been part of the plans since the launch of the smartphones back in 2007.

There is better browsing capabilities coming with these phones and according to You Tube manager, Dwipal Desai, there are now more smartphone checking options than ever due to people’s demands.
