Motorola Droid

With the release of the Droid, Motorola has done at least one great thing, released its most attractive phone yet. Although Motorola has brought nothing more than disappointment for the last couple of years with technology releases that held no comparisons to the other big names in the phone industry, Droid could very well prove all critics wrong or could prove them right! In any case, the phone sure looks great and in this industry the looks do matter. Besides, you could always expect Motorola to get technology to look good if not anything else; point in reference the Razr phones that made carrying cell phones sexy.

The Motorola Droid is actually quite defiant where its design is concerned compared to the stereotypical smart phone devices that are flooding the phone industry now with the smooth edges and dark colors and their sophisticated air. The droid on the other hand seems to believe in playing rich the old school way. Unlike the other expensive smart phones, this one has sharp edges and a hardy metallic material to go with it, though the material also has some plastic combined in it for good measure. Along with that hefty and big-guy command that the phone has, there is also the gold highlights along the phone to make it a little bling-bling. Apart from all this, the phone is suddenly modern with its soft touch keys and buttons. Overall the phone looks great and is a good change from the typical design of the other touch-screen phones.
