title="Apple iPad" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.apple.com/ipad/" target="_blank">Apple iPad is well and truly what any Tom, Dick and Harry would close their eyes and wish for. The most sleek, the most efficient and the most beautiful gadget that you can have in your pocket or pick out of your hand bag. The list of jaw dropping features is endless and goes on and on.

But what appealed to me most was its appearance; a glassy, futuristic design gives it an edge over all its contemporary brothers. All the application features are well suited to take full advantage of the large 9.7” multi touch screen, which works in every possible orientation. So that makes it truly unique as no other electronic touch screen device works in multiple orientations.

The large Multi-Touch screen on the iPad lets you see web pages as they were meant to be seen one page at a time! That again is a unique feature; but readability of the content has been improved upon with vibrant color and sharp text. So whether you’re looking at a page in portrait or landscape, you can see everything at a size that’s actually readable.

With the iPad, navigating the web has been easier or more intuitive. Using the most natural pointing device that is the finger scrolling through a page or zooming in or out on a photo has never been so much more animate. You flick your fingers to scroll a page and pinch them to zoom out of photos! There’s also a thumbnail view that shows all your open pages in a grid and lets you move quickly from one page to the next.
<p

But i pad has not disappointed me with its office features. It has a finger sensitive keyboard that lets you write emails or articles on a word processor and allows you to use its amazing graphics to make a quick presentation. It is like carrying a super efficient desktop PC in your pocket which looks futuristic in design and rock solid in durability and is super cool to use. The iPad entertainment features are rich and heavy. It can play HD videos! The high resolution screen makes it even more inviting in the landscape mode and the built in speakers are decent. Though I prefer the ear phones for an experience of a higher order!

Features normally weighs down on battery life and makes the gadget heavy but i pad is fairly light weighing just over one and a half pounds and is half an inch thick and has fairly good 10 hour battery back up. It comes in two variants based on connectivity that is wi-fi and 3g and three capacity variants that is 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB. The Apple iPad is fairly priced at 499$ for an entry level wi-fi model and 829$ for a high end 64 GB 3g model, if the services provided by apple and its brand equity are considered its pricing is fair and just. It is targeted to suffice the needs of young professional and thereby its a good buy for anyone who loves to relax a bit between heavy schedules or rather work a bit more within gain that busy schedule.

Chance To Win Gaming Desktop PC And ‘Empire: Total War’

Computers

Games

Desktop PC

Empire

PC Gamer

Total War
<guid

The Eee Top tops in technical quality, elegant looks, and sophisticated style, easy to operate interface is just apt for a home PC. Width of the screen is accurate to call it more a home or family fun device.

It features a 15.6″ 16:9 Wide Panel Touch screen monitor, TFT display type, coming with a slim and sleek stand on panel. Unique edge of the Asus Eee Top is the unusual display resolution of 1366 x 768 which is a commonly found feature in LCD TVs.

Installed graphics type is onboard graphics. Web camera is also in line with other installed features that is 1.3 pixels. For audio support, 4W Hifi speaker x 2 + SRS Premium Sound System is not a soft sounding and high standard audio.

White in color, looking good, comes with more than only looks; it is a processing speed giant. With Windows XP Home running on top speed without delays is impressive enough. Well integrated Microsoft operating system is a quick launch bar.

The main interface holds icon driven tabs, 4 in numbers, it more seem like a family shared computer which any one can operate with minimized difficulty. These tabs are named as ‘Communication Tab’, ‘Fun Tab, ‘Work Tab’, and ‘Tools Tab’. Easily accessible tabs are for old as well as children. Most of the applications reside in these tabs like the tab ‘Communication’ has Skype, emails and web applications; direct linking with widely used web sites/search engines.

Amazing! Touching the tab through screen takes you directly to Yahoo, Gmail, Windows Live Mail, MySpace, Facebook, Blogger and Google News. Likewise ‘Fun Tab’ resides media handling software, just like Windows Media Center, also has a few games too, again, able to be played by touching the screen.

‘Work Tab’ holds everything that can be of requirement like PDF reader, calculator, file manager, individual links to all facets of Sun Microsystems’ StarSuite software for productivity. The ‘Tools Tab’ with a specific applications links including Internet Explorer and Opera, along with customization options.

The Top is topped with card reader (SD/MMC/Memory Stick), 5400 Drive Speed, 802.11n Data Link Protocol, HDD Capacity 160.00 GB, 1GB Installed RAM, 6 USB Ports, Processor Intel Atom N270 + 945 GSE, and Power Supply: 19Vdc, 3.42A, 65W power adaptor.

Weighing only 4.30 kg, it offers a virtual keyboard to input text; SoftStylus. Stylus is there too to avoid finger prints which can be slotted into the back of a keyboard; it’s an option to cater the requirement of a keyboard. The messages can also be used very easily using the virtual keyboard or by touching the screen. Drag and drop functions are also offered by Opera Touch.

Though it comes with so many interesting features/ tools, its popularity and success is suspected.
