You may not find some really good Samaritans in your surrounding these days, but one thing is certain that you would succeed to find many on the internet in the form of quick-thinking and good-willed social networkers, as the internet is getting replete with them.

During the last week, Demi Moore, a well-known celebrity on Twitter saved the life of a woman who was going to commit suicide and had threatened to kill herself on Twitter.

With the help of Twitter, Demi Moore reposted her comments to her more than 350,000 followers on the Twitter who proved quite helpful to stop that suicidal woman to end her life.

Responding to the incident, Moore tweeted that it was a true example of collective consciousness power.
The same sort of incident took place when an American girl saved to life of a teenager in the UK who was talking to her online. The girl informed the authorities that the guy had threatened to kill himself.

The 16 years old boy had consumed an overdose of sleeping pills and had told about it to the girl in the US. The girl informed the police to save boy’s life and his address was tracked down by informing the British Embassy.
