A public beta of Yahoo Music has been launched in the US, as Yahoo is expecting this act will serve as an aggregator for some other players of the industry and it will prove quite helpful to enhance its functionality and bring more traffic on its site.
With this new Yahoo Music version, Yahoo users will be able to have access to the services of other providers from the site of the waning internet giant.
Amazon, iTunes, YouTube, Pandora and Last.fm are some of these providers, Yahoo has been making efforts for its sinking paid for music model for quite some.
“ We are also trying to focus on the services that our users reckon quite valuable, and we are collaborating with other parties to offer our users a real joyful music service,” says Michael Spiegelman, general manager at Yahoo Music.
The service has not been integrated in other parts of the world including UK, but it’s accessible through new.music.yahoo.com.
