Hardly three weeks back, there were some reports about Pioneer’s plans to boost its quite respected flat panel TV technology, but now there are some rumors that the company is considering stopping its TV business completely.
According to some report of Japanese media, the company will close its TV plant in Japan along with other operational plants for TV production in the United States and Europe.
The company had announced to stop the production of its plasma panels and it will use hardware made by Panasonic instead, but now this idea has been shelved now along with its Kuro TV.
The company has already projected a loss of ¥100 billion during this year that apparently led to the decision of stopping production of solo DVD hardware, however, it’s not yet official.
