Microsoft to bring Netflix in Windows Media Center

Microsoft is signing a deal to bring Netflix streaming movie service in Windows Media Center.

Right now the users of XP can’t access Netflix services and it is available to Vista, and Home Premium users.

But after this deal, Windows Media Center owners could also find the things from the Netflix library, as well as they could manage their DVD queues and it will also filter searches to get instant access to titles with the help of filter searches.

Microsoft has been trying hard to enhance the amount of available content on Windows Media and the company has also released a new sport channel that also includes the replays of NCAA basketball tournament.

Microsoft says in a statement that “we are trying to build a broader vision from alleviating the need from jumping to one website to the other to access TV shows, news, sports and movies.”

Windows Media Center

On the other hand, the partnership deal for Netflix will provide a chance to offer its services for Windows Media Center, as the same it has been doing for different Vista users.

Windows Media Center owners will need to subscribe the rental service to get Netflix access and then they can stream movies by starting Windows Media Center.
