It was in January this year when Apple added some really impressive features as well as benefits in its well-known 17-inch model, but now these features and benefits seem to trickle down to other members of MacBook Pro family too. It’s true that prices are going down, but it will be an excellent value for your money if the new MacBook Pros is made.
Now there is Apple’s well known ground-breaking internal battery in the new 13” and 15” MacBook Pros. Apple has nicely freed up the space that was taken by hatches and connectors, and now there is a stronger and bigger battery which didn’t add any weight or size in the laptop and this is the battery which allows you to use your laptop with a single charge.
When it comes to screen, these new MacBook Pros seem to boast an enhanced LED backlit display that has 60% bigger gamut of colors. The difference is somewhat amazing if compared to some other laptops that Apple previously introduced. This time you will find colors quite intense with smoother gradients and comprehensive viewing angles.
An immense overhauling has been done with their ports expansions, and there is no more ExpressCard slot in the 15-inch model, and an SD card slot has been added instead in the complete range. ExpressCard seemed to offer great versatility and many would miss this versatility, but according to Phil Schiller only 1% users were using that ExpressCard.
It was considered quite an unpopular move when Apple dropped the FireWire port in its 13-inch Mac, but now these guys have decided to bring it back in Apple in 13-inch MacBook Pro.
There is an illuminated keyboard which has been provided as standard throughout this range. Previously, this keyboard was available only in the higher end models of 13” and above.
The thing that can be really exciting for speed lovers is that the processor speeds have been impressively beefed up throughout the Mac Pro range and now you will find the 13-inch model with 2.26 GHz and 2.53 GHz configuration, while 15” models have 2.53 GHz, 2.66 GHz and 2.8 GHz processors. So, you can expect a lot of speed with these different MacBook Pros and now you will also be able to do all those chores with the twinkling of an eye which you can’t do in this way.
