Launchpad
It lets you access and launch applications easily. The Launchpad also provides you with a grid view for icons, iPad style. You can see all your applications just by clicking on the Launchpad icon.
Full-screen applications
Much like the iPad, the Mac OS X 10.7 Lion lets you get full-screen views for your applications. This gives a bigger display for the Mac applications.
Mission Control
This gives you a view of all the open applications and windows on your computer in a single window.
Enhanced Multi-touch
Apple has added multi-touch capabilities to the Lion. Users can implement the Magic Mouse and Magic Trackpad from Apple to operate their computers.

Now you no longer need to worry about documents getting lost due to system crashes or power failure. The Lion automatically saves all your documents. That saves your time of manually managing your documents.
Apps resume
This cool feature lets you resume your applications as they were when you last opened them. This is similar to the functions displayed by the Opera or Firefox browser.

The scrollbar remains hidden from view when it is inactive. This is again, similar to the iPhone OS.
Mac App Store
Apple Inc. has created a Mac Apps store similar to its Apps store for the iPhone. You can download wonderful softwares for your Mac by a single mouse click, install them easily and update them automatically.
With the Lion, Apple Inc. has taken its Mac OS to a new level. Integrating iOS features into the Mac OS Lion packs the latter with more power. This innovation is sure to add to the popularity of the Mac OS. The Mac OS X 10.7 Lion is sure to rule in the coming days.
