The search giant Google is now going to digitize the world of books and has decided to provide this world with the most efficient online library. But this is not as simple as setting up your own books library as it requires an approval from the authors and publishers involved. Thus Google’s digital book future lies in the decisions of Justice Department, book publishers, authors and federal judge. But the company is confident that it will succeed in its proposal and soon make this project a grand success.
The Google Book Search project is one of the projects that have the top priority considering the difficulties involved in executing the project. Apart from the financial and technical hurdles, the project also requires lots of approval and legal formalities.

Google revealed plans of this project in 2003 and drew some lawsuits regarding copyright violation from Authors Grand but the company then came with a proposed settlement that is still under review. Thus the company hopes for this project are dependent on the decisions of this settlement.
