Virgin America goes Google
Virgin America is now the newest to add on to the already impressive list of Google and use Google Apps. In the coming few weeks, almost all of the 1700 staff members of the airline based in North America will have access to a corporate email through Gmail and will now collaborate more effectively by the use of Google Calendar, Google Docs & Google Talk. This would not only cut down upon the system costs of the airline by half on switching e-mails but also provide them with long term storage advantage and save up on about 18 terabytes space for the ever increasing airline.
Moreover, SADA systems, one of Google Apps Authorized Resellers is helping Virgin America to set up Google Apps on a single sign on user access and to integrate telephony systems and customizing email configurations.

Location is one of the most important part of day-to-day life. We usually search for information of great restaurants, great places etc for their exact location. Google has done a good research and developed innovative tool to make searching locations easily online. Moreover, the information that we want to search are also customizable these days.

A virtual galaxy has been created by Google in all the Google offices and in the Tech Museum of San Jose, California to facilitate watching Google Earth, space and underwater in an indoor environment. It is a Liquid Galaxy that gives a surround view with the help of eight 55-inch LCD screens.
