1st HD Pico Projector of the World Launched

Last year the launch of Pico projectors was spread around on a large scale, due to which it became next to impossible to delay the launch of HD Pico device any further.

The product was anxiously awaited, only the thing unknown was the company that will launch the device first and become the pioneer. The more surprising element in the whole story is that an almost unknown company has taken the lead. Winning cup has been awarded to a Taiwanese company with the name of Forever Plus by launching its device Portable 720P LED Projector, leaving behind the big giants.

Adobe and Time Warner Join Hands

On Monday Time Warner and Adobe Systems announced their alliance to produce DRM and Flash publishing into three of Time Warner’s properties. The partnership includes Turner Broadcasting System, Home Box office, and Warner Bros. Entertainment.

This collaboration is done to create new video experiences for some of the online properties of the content providers.

FlimOn.com launches FilmOn TV service in UK

To expand its repertoire, FlimOn.com has announced a new service that is dedicated to TV. FilmOn.com is known as the leading on-demand video provider in the UK.

Alki David, the CEO and founder of FilmOn.com, says that this new portal will offer 2,500 channels of live video streams and it will also bring virtual cable TV to the people.

You need not to worry about if your broadband connection is somewhat piddly, as this new service can work on different variations and it is compatible with different players like Windows Media Player and Flip 4 Mac.

Pioneer announces to stop TV production

Hardly three weeks back, there were some reports about Pioneer’s plans to boost its quite respected flat panel TV technology, but now there are some rumors that the company is considering stopping its TV business completely.

According to some report of Japanese media, the company will close its TV plant in Japan along with other operational plants for TV production in the United States and Europe.

SIM2 Solar Series Launched Today!

Today the SIM2 Solar Series 47-inch LCD has been launched. It has been showed off in Integrated Systems Europe show 2009 by Dolby and SIM2.

The new LCD solar screen is brighter and has a greater contrast comparing to its previous version and those flat screens available at present. It delivers brightness of over 4000 cd/m2 from 2306 LED back lights. Coming with 16-bit processing, it has 95 % uniform luminosity across the panel.
