The two leading telecommunication companies of the world, Deutsche Telekom of Germany and France Telecom of France have recently announced the completion and finalization of their UK merger. The first announcements regarding the merger operation was announced on the 8th of September, 2009. After obtaining all necessary permissions and required approvals, the merger was finalized at the beginning of this year. The merger should prove to be beneficial for both companies. Moreover the merger will provide a unified mobile network for almost the whole of Western Europe. The unified version of Deutsche Telekom and France Telecom will henceforth be known as the Joint Venture. The principle of equity as applicable on April 2010 will dictate the division of shares, profits, etc for both the companies that is Deutsche Telekom and France Telecom, the two telecom giants.

The Chief Executive of the new Joint Venture, JV for short, is Tom Alexander who was formerly the Chief Executive Officer of the telecom company Orange UK. Both Deutsche Telekom and France Telecom are reputed to be leading telecom giants. Much is at stake for them in the merger. They must live up to their previous reputation and in the same spirit must provide better network coverage for the whole of the UK. All the key features of the network of both Deutsche Telekom and France Telecom must be kept intact. This merger marks an aggressive entry of other telecom companies in the UK telecom market. This only means heightened competition in the UK telecom business, and more job opportunities.

Orange has definitely decided to launch better and more important types of marketing gimmicks that can definitely help customers with their mobile phone apps and a whole lot more.

Orange Partner Programme announced at the Orange Indirect Business Channel Conference held in London its renewed and refreshed commitment to the Indirect channel specifying its focus on business and SME dealerships. The new scheme is due to be launched in the beginning of April and draws on the growing momentum of Orange which began in 2009 with record customer addition in the 4th quarter through both Direct as well as Indirect channels.

The Orange partnership has 3 tiers:

Approved Orange Partner: which is the entry point for dealers with distributors playing a key role in gaining accreditation and introducing Orange dealers.

Specialist Partner: This marks the evolution of the existing Federated Dealers scheme which will make federated dealers Orange Specialist Partners who will handle trade agreements, targets and objectives.

Principal Partner: This is the highest tier status that is reserved for Orange Specialist Partners who are committed to almost exclusive selling of Orange.

To appreciate the loyalty and commitment of the dealers and distributors, Orange plans to share enhanced marketing, sales and services support as well as added customer insight. Also, Orange plans to build a better relationship with both, its partners as well as long term customers.

The 2010 Mobile News Awards has been bowled over by Orange, winning three industrial awards. It was rewarded as the best Large Retailer Company of the U.K. It won the award of The Best Innovative Science. CEO, Tom Lexander was felicited with Best Lifetime Achievement.

The very first score from their bundle of hattrick came in the form of the best Large Retailer of this year. It was judged for the first time by the total scores of “Mystery Shopper“, a certain Mobile News. Orange ofcourse turned out as the glorius winner. It also won with tough competition the award for Social Life – best “Innovative Science“.

Social Life happens to be the aggregation service of social networking. Orange has been successful in incorporating networking sites such as Facebbok, Myspace and Bebo together in one zone, which has made the judges conclude that this a great piece of innovation from the company’s side, inducing a huge growth in the market of social networking. A recognition was also given to the Orange Monkey music service under this category.

With Tom Alexander winning the Lifetime Award, a highlight had been thrown upon the crucial people who were responsible for making the mobile industry what it is today. With a golden career of 25 years, Tom Alexander was given utmost respect for taking the mass market mobile of phones at Virgin Mobile, and also for his huge influence and impact on the employees and customers of Orange as the CEO.

The new Orange iPhone tariffs have some of the greatest number crunching and great work going on for the best of iPhone related tariffs. This is all about bringing a new meaning to make some of the greatest music through Spotify systems.

This is all about listening to some of the greatest music to bring about unlimited services through Spotify’s music and services. The half an hour of music comes with the fair use cap for Orange. This is all about unlimited options and their explorations. There would be about 3G of music per day.

The 3G data cap is all about Orange iPhone’s tariffs with about 750MB per month. But this is not all that ideal for streaming media services. There are going to be some severe space scouring in terms of streaming media services, mails and other services. This is quite different from the previous services coming over through Orange. There would be about 13 hours of sonic song listening now going on for you with some of the greatest 160kbps coming to hit with this new system.

There are some reports which tell that Orange has completed the successful trials of its 20Meg broadband and it will be available ton public later this year.

A trail of it has been launched for fixed broadband with customers speeds of over 20 Meg to role it out for a wider network.

Orange has also told that nearly 300 persons to be included in this initial trial to test the problems infrastructure before their final launch.

People who have been involved in this trail are the existing customers of the company and that are currently receiving 8Meg broadband speeds.

For the launch of this new service, a supporting team has been developed to monitor it and for its special trial and if this broadband doesn’t support, the site will not work properly and it will become somewhat useless.

But this trial will be made on usual copper wire that will be a real hindrance to achieve the speeds that has been offered by the fibre optic connectivity.
