Dell has declared its thinnest PC laptop with an incredible device measuring the thickness. It was about 9.9 mm with the Dell Adamo XPS working with the Adamo range. The Dell Adamo XPS is thinner compared to the other Dell versions. It weighs terribly light with only 1.44 kg weight. The size is crisply within 340 x 273.9 mm. It has a waif like body and comes with an Intel Core 2 Duo. It is ultra low voltage and has some of the greatest storage spaces, with about 128 GB solid spaces coming over through the drive.

The size and screen has some high definition display and it also comes with a latching device with one finger swiping openness and built up keyboard. This comes with a built-in location of awareness. There is an aluminum keyboard that comes in with the 802.11m wireless connection. The Ethernet connection comes through a dongle and can be built in with Windows 7 64-bit edition.

There is the huge potentiality being brought with the throwing away of all the old systems with it. The new rules are being laid with the old introductions being swept clean from the Adamo experience. Alex Gruzen, the Senior Vice President of Dell Consumer Products, has expressed the new found confidence with the old rules and the fresh new advent of the new design of the Adamo XPS.

Dell marketing executive says that Windows 7 seems to beat Vista in almost every aspect, but the biggest hindrance that stops people adopt Windows7 OS is its potentially high pricing.

“This is the average selling price of it that makes people stop to adopt it; the ASPs of it are higher than that of Vista and XP,” says Dell’s director of product management says in an interview that a large number of Windows 7 OS will appear quite soon.

A large number of Windows OS users will find these versions quite handy, but the thing that serves as real hurdle in the way of its adaptation is its pricing and these nice features seem somewhat suppressed considering the price of these versions.

“We know well that these are tough economic times and it is somewhat childish to believe that prices can be increased on average and you still expect that there would be a strong swell in their use if you even lowered them. I have no qualm to say that tiers can be licensed at quite higher prices than they were licensed for Vista.”

When it comes to business markets, you will find the business version of it a lot more expensive than you have seen Windows Vista This is really a professional version that is going to replace it.

“Many businesses and schools may avoid adopting its early version and that is mainly because of its price,” he adds.

As far as mobile broadband is concerned, this replacement for desktops appear somewhat weird, as limited availability of WiMax serves as the biggest strike against it and right now it’s available in Baltimore and Portland, but according to Sprint it will expand its network during this year and many other states will be included in it.

While on the other hand, HP is not going to offer WiMax as a choice in its notebooks and according to an HP spokesman, this emerging technology is not quite ready to integrate in the coming notebooks from HP.

Acer says that WiMax has been qualified in several notebooks, but this option has been picked by any of its resellers in the United States.

You definitely need to have a USB modem that can 3G as well as Mobile WiMax and U300 USB modem from sprint seems to do that all in $80 for 24 months contract.

Dell has launched an inkless printer named Wasabi PZ310, which is compatible with iPhone. The mini is just 4.8 inches x 2.8 inches x 0.9 inches in size and weighs only 7 ounces.

This remarkable product is for those who use their mobile phone other than calls and messages. Wasabi is attached/connected with a mobile set or a laptop through USB or Bluetooth. It can take the printout of pictures in 2 inches x 3 inches.

Apart from its remarkably small size, its unique feature is that it is an inkless printer. Instead of ink, the printer uses Zinc imaging technique to sketch the print. The image or picture is sketched by embedding the paper with special yellow, cyan dye and magenta crystals. For this process, particular areas of the paper are heated up by the printer to imprint the picture.

Wendy Caswell, president of Zink Imaging remarked about the product and said, “The Dell Wasabi is the fourth product available using the Zink technology, with many more on the way, including those capable of making larger prints.”

The printer is now available in the market for sale. It is priced as $99 or 68 pounds, which is a promotional price tag; quite reasonable and accessible. After the promotional period, its regular price will be $149, i.e. 103 pounds.

Wasabi PZ310 is a unique and innovative product which many people were wishing to see for a long time. With Wasabi, new doors for inventions have been opened.
