Though the tough exterior of the 2010 model did not match up to its “not so amazing” interior, the new Macbook Air 2011 serves to be one of the better products that Apple inc. has launched in the recent years and don’t lack in performance at all. These models come with the low voltage Intel Core i5 1.6 or 1.7 GHz processors depending on the memory of the product. Both these processors are dual core with a 3 MB shared L3 cache and the 1.7 GHz processor for the 13-inch has 4 GB of DDR3 (This is a high performance solution for computer systems as it is able to transfer data twice as fast as its counterparts.)

There has been a constant debate about the new iPhone 5 by Apple where many believe that the cell phone will be out in the market this year itself. On the other hand, Apple has remained silent on whether then phone will be available in the global market. However, in a recent conference call meeting of Verizon where the company was discussing on their latest quarterly results Verizon mentioned about the new release that they have on platter and during the conference Verizon mentioned that the next iPhone by Apple will be a global device. This means that Apple is trying to come up with another iPhone that will have GSM and CDMA network in it. It is assumed that Apple has taken such step to attract more buyers who prefer to use GSM network when they are abroad. Currently, all the Apple iPhone 4 are on CDMA network only.

The remarks made by Verizon also hinted that Apple will be using the same Qualcomm chips that they have been using in Apple iPhone 4 and in iPad 2 devices. It has been found that these chips will be able to connect to both the networks and therefore it will be better for Apple to stay with Qualcomm chips. However, the date of release is still a mystery because no one has provided any information about when Apple would come out with their next dual mode iPhone.
