Mobile entrepreneurs recently received some good news in the form of an announcement that ENIAC Ventures has raised a fund of more than $1.6 million to aid startup companies in the mobile communications software sector. The group takes its name from the Electronic Numerical Integrator And Computer (ENIAC), which was the world’s first general-purpose electronic computer, and likewise the group aims for some “first” of its own.

Many industry watchers feel that the 4G wireless internet service like that currently being offered by Clearwire and planned by other carriers is the wave of the future. This super fast wireless internet connection provides a number of important benefits over DSL and cable internet service, including faster speeds, greater stability and enhanced security features.
Clearview recently announced plans to offer a 4G wireless handset later in 2010. The new WiMax handsets are expected to be available to retail customers throughout the nation later in the year. The first of these devices will be powered by the Google Android system, and it will feature both 3G and 4G capabilities. Built by Samsung, this device is said to be optimized for high quality video streaming, as well as communication of both voice and data. The second device is built by HTC, and it is also a 3G and 4G enabled device. Both of these handsets are expected to be compatible with both the Spring networks and the Clearwire network.

Samsung Galaxy S is a popular android Smartphone that was launched by the Korean mobile giant, Samsung Electronics in March 2010 worldwide. This mobile phone featured 1GHz Hummingbird processor, 8 to 16 GB internal flash memory, Super AMOLED 4 inch 480X800 pixel touch screen display, a 5 MPG camera and VGA front facing camera on certain variants.
