Amazon Free Kindle Apps for Android and Windows Tablets

Android-based and Windows tablet computers are really making news across the world and therefore most companies are now trying to make gadgets that are compatible with Android and Windows 7. For the past two years Amazon has been trying hard to come up with new apps that would enable their customers to enjoy Kindle books wherever they are. Hence, Amazon is introducing a wide selection of free Buy Once Read Everywhere Kindle apps. In 2010, Amazon came up with a Kindle app that was specifically designed for people who enjoy reading books on their iPad and it soon enter the list of top ten free apps for iPads.

Amazon now wants to provide something for the consumers who prefer to use Android and Windows based tablets. Amazon already knows that a huge number of people across the globe use Android based tablets and providing them with this Kindle app will only make it better for their reputation in the market. Customers can then access the Kindle Store that has a large number of online books that people can read from wherever they are. Once they have achieved this Buy Once Read Everywhere will be available on Kindle, Kindle 3G, Kindle Dx, iPad, iPod Touch, iPhone, Mac, PC, BlackBerry and other Android-based devices.

Currently, Kindle Store has around 100 New York best sellers and millions of other books in store for the readers. This app will allow consumers to sync and read their favorite books, bookmark them and even highlight certain pages through their Android-based devices. Customers can use their Amazon account information and purchase books that they like instantly through one click buying. Dorothy Nicholls, Director of Amazon Kindle said that she is really excited for the upcoming Kindle apps which will allow people to read their favorite books on their Android and Windows based tablet computers.
