Mobile subscriptions hit 5 billion mark

On July 8th, 2010, the no of mobile subscriptions crossed the 5billion mark. At the rate of 2 million mobile subscriptions per day and more than 500 million 3G subscriptions, this milestone has been achieved. Developing countries like India and China account for almost half of these subscriptions.
