Open Source for Students from Google

Google had introduced their huge exposition for students via their 5 years open source program. Google summer of code ended with their flagship global program that got them to recruit college and university students to their open source program.

These results have been really impressive and Google has been able to conduct the program with great developments. Over 2,000 mentors had come to be a part of this program with participants from 64 countries coming over to take place. There were 1,000 students coming from 69 countries to have the project going with great speed and gusto. 150 free and open source projects had been part of the overall grander program scheme.

China’s 500 Mega Watt Solar Plant

After Canada’s highly 500 megawatt powered solar plant China is now working with its very own solar power plant in Baotou. This plant near Inner Mongolia would prove to be a great deal with manufacturing city based on the Yellow River in the Inner Mongolia state. There are about 2 million people living in that area itself.

The China government’s official Baotou site explains further about the major plans and shifting taking place with the new venture of the plant being started off. Canadian Solar’s agreement has been one of the Administration Committee of Baotou National Rare Earth Hi Tech Industrial Development Zone working in alignment. The CPT, as known in its abbreviate form, will be designing, starting to operate and making real developments in the Solar plant.

New Site on Flu Research and Updates

Nokia Netbook Gets Revealed as Booklet 3G

The next in queue with Phonelet 3G is the Nokia netbook. In its own version the new Booklet 3G is going to make splashes for device in the packing of the Intel Atom processor within. It will have a 12 hour battery back up to boot.

It will also come loaded with WiFi, Bluetooth, super fast HSDPA processing and Windows 7 Starter Edition option coming with it. It was expected to come with the normal range of connectivity but is only expected to grow super fast with the additional systems within it.

Its GPS will also come with OM Maps in its gadget along with the Ovi Suite present in the Nokia Booklet 3G. It is going to be open for more personal mapping experiences this way.

Google Voice to Change its iPhone Deals

Apple reports to FCC that Google changes its iPhone deals again. Though Apple had denied their earlier about their ideas on Google Voice addition for iPhones. However this software for iPhones has been raising its concern among user experiences. Apple Vice President, Catherine Novelli, has written in a response about Google software altering the iPhone’s unique experience being provided to the users.

Novelli has also said the Apple has spent a great deal of time developing this individualistic mark coming with their iPhones which they do not want to destroy.
